Greenbrier Tip-Off Tournament Brackets Announced

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. (July 11, 2024) – Matchups and game times for the Mountain and River Divisions of the inaugural Greenbrier Tip-Off were announced today, revealing eight competitive matchups taking place over consecutive weekends at the famed Greenbrier Resort in picturesque foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va.

The two bracketed tournaments will take place prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, with River Division games set for Nov. 15-16, while the Mountain Division contests will be staged Nov. 22 and 24. All contests will take place inside Colonial Hall at the historic resort that was founded in 1778.

The four games of the River Division will get the Greenbrier Tip-Off action underway on Nov. 15 when UTRGV takes on Charleston Southern at 1 p.m. ET, while VMI faces Tennessee Tech at approximately 3:30 p.m. The third-place game is scheduled for Noon with the title tilt set for approximately 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 16.

The following weekend, the four teams of the Mountain Division will converge on America’s Resort with games set for Nov. 22 and 24. Pitt takes on LSU at 2:30 p.m. with Wisconsin and UCF to follow at approximately 5 p.m. on Nov. 22. The division’s third-place game and championship contest will take place at 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively, on Nov. 24.

Packages will include game tickets, good for each Division-specific contest, accommodations at the resort, slot play vouchers, free drink tickets and more at the historic resort. Ticket-only packages, based on availability, will go on sale in the fall.
