Game 1

Kent State defeated Cleveland State 102–95 on Saturday at Colonial Hall at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs. The Golden Flashes led 44–41 at halftime and finished the second half 58–54 to close out the neutral-site matchup.

Delrecco Gillespie led Kent State with 30 points and 13 rebounds, while Jahari Williamson added 23. Cian Medley finished with 13 points and eight assists. Cleveland State was paced by Tre Beard with 27 points and Dayan Nessah with 21 points and nine rebounds.

Kent State held a 48–20 edge in points in the paint. The game featured eight ties and four lead changes, with the Golden Flashes’ largest run a 9–0 burst.

Game 2

Wright State defeated Radford 92–59 in game two of day one of River Division play. The Raiders led 35–27 at halftime and 57–32 in the second half, and were in front for 36:31 of game time.

Solomon Callaghan scored 20 points to lead Wright State, followed by Michael Cooper with 17 and TJ Burch with 12; Logan Woods and Dominic Pangonis added 11 each. Radford was led by Dennis Parker Jr. with 15 points.

Wright State shot 50.8% from the field and 13-of-20 from three (65.0%), including 9-of-11 after halftime. The Raiders’ largest lead was 35, with an 11–0 run; bench points favored WSU 34–18. Radford shot 35.7% overall and 5-of-21 from three (23.8%).
